Question
I just recently adopted a kitten from a rescue. He seemed healthy, had all his shots, tested negative, happy little playful 6 month old. Brought him home to my 2 year old vaccinated cat, and now she is miserable with eye problems. He had surgery on his eye for a dermatoid. (sp?) I assumed his eye has just been a little sensitive because of that and a little watery. I'm finding out by my own research that he could have herpes and she has it now. I am so upset. Everything I'm reading says she will always be sick and the eye medicine hurts to much to want to give it. I got him for her to play with. She can barely open her eyes when she wakes up. Please advise me on what's going on? Should the rescue be liable for this?
