am a teacher. had heart attack/stroke. was off all spring semester on sick leave
used up >20 yrs sick leave. is the sick leave pay i received subject to taxes as regular income?

Answer

Pay received when you were on sick leave is taxable as regular compensation. Normally this is also reported on W-2.
