Dear friend,

This is a disturbance to the equilbrium called vestibular syndrome. It is similar to motion sickness in humans an causes disorientation. It is sometimes a result of a middle ear infection. You can read about it here:

http://www.marvistavet.com/html/body_vestibular_disease.html

If this recurs it is best to have your baby seen by a vet. She will be scriped a antibiotic and her vitals will be checked to make sure there are no abnormalities to her blood pressure, etc. Sometimes it does just resolve on it's own but you do need to keep an eye on her.

Please let me know how she is feeling. I will be happy to help further if you still have questions about this.

Sincerest best wishes,

Terri
