Question
2002 Silverado HD LT 4WD 6.0Liter
My heated seat, driver side, came on, stayed on, couldn't turn it off with the switch. Drained the battery overnight(I think) At least the battery was dead next morning. Jump started it and drove all day. Same problem with hot heated seat. Next day battery was dead. I replaced the battery. Drove 200 miles, seat was hot, dead new battery the next morning. I unplugged the heated seat fuse under the steering column and now battery stays charged, but of course the heated seat doesn't work. Is there a simple fix, or should I just leave it the way it is?

You will just need to unhook the heated seat switch connector. If it still gets hot you need to replace the heater element. If it stops getting hot when you disconnect the switch you will need to replace the switch. Let me know if I can do anymore! Good luck!
