1994 Merc cougar

I get a vibration between 60-70 mph ,not a shake,feels like I’m goin over a rumble strip,,one mach says it’s my U-joint what do you think   Thank You

my first guess would be the U joint.. second it could be transmission shutter... either way, i would repace the U joints first.. it's cheaper and they probably will need replacing soon anyway... but they usually viblate at slower speeds.... 0-45 mph. you may want to have your tires balanced too, that is another possibility....
