Question

many years ago there was a game where pieces of pipe would lower themselves onto a grid much like tetris. You would connect the pieces to form a pipeline before the water would come and then the game would be over if it beat you.l Loved this game and have not been able to find it since. I looked at pops pipes and pipefun, as well as all of the others that are currently available. perhaps I don't have the name right, can you help me, thanks Genie

Answer

Hi Vgenie,

Because our other expert had gone the way of online games I thought perhaps it was a board game so...here is a list of sites with a few online pipe & water games. Perhaps one is what you are looking for. :-)

Pipe Mania - Lay down pipes before water starts flowing and try to make it reach the drain.

BlackDog's Pipe Dream Game

Pipe Dream (video game) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This last site has a good deal of games involving pipes & water. Scroll down about an inch to start viewing them.

Pipe game palm software by Dremov Dmitry and others

Hopefully we have hit something here for you!

Answer

Is it similar to this:
http://www.sharewareconnection.com/pipefun.htm
(there seems to be more than one version/game with the same name but very different graphics)

What made the edition you remember different from the current versions?

Vgenie,

I think what we need to clarify in order for other experts to help you is as to whether this was an old board game or a computer game. The last link I gave you was not for "one" game in particular but a series of about every pipe and water game available to play online. If you didn't go though that site in entirety you may want to give it another shot.

Hopefully another expert will be able to come up with something other than what the experts so far have been able to.

Regards,

Diane
