She is about 1 yr old She was a ferile cat that was starving & freezing to death outside. I took her to the vet & had her tested & vaccinated for rabies ,distemper, & leukemia. She is being treated for worms. Her cough didn't start until I had her for about a week. She stays inside & has been well cared for.She does sometimes sneeze & has a discharge from her nose. Her appetite is great. She is not very active.I would appreciate any help. Thank You, Rick

Thank you Rick.

It sounds like she has a respiratory infection. The couging is a concern as that can indicate possible bronchitis or pneumonia. You are going to have to take he back to the vet and have the vet ascult het lungs and possibly take chest x rays.

She could also have feline asthma. http://www.veterinarypartner.com/Content.plx?P=A&&A=665 This is diagnosed with chest xrays and clinical signs. Sometimes there is a needs to do more advances diagnostics such as examining fluid from the trachea.

I would rule out these two diseases first. She could also have heartworms or lungworms but that is not as likely.
