Answer

Hi,

When a cat's whiskers start falling out excessively, this indicates there's an underlying medical problem and/or skin problem. If you find a whisker on the floor, here and there, this is normal, as whiskers do fall out and new ones regenerate.

If your cat's whiskers are falling out by the bunch and her whisker pads really look bare, definitely have her checked out by your vet ASAP to find the cause and have it treated. I hope she'll be fine!
