Answer

Hello Diego. This is big problem and a difficult one to get under control. However, it's not impossible if you attack it the right way and on three fronts at once. You need to treat the pets, the house and the outside areas, preferably on the same day. You are already working on the problem with the Frontline so that leaves the house and yard. First however, make sure the Frontline is proving to be effective on the pets by making sure they have no fleas on them. For your home, you need to use the foggers and you need to be sure you use as many as recommended for your square footage. It usually works out to be one per room of any size. Leaving the doors to closests and other small rooms open should allow those areas to be properly treated. Don't for get attics, basements, and crawl spaces if you have them. How large you outside area is will dictate your best approach to that. You can use anything from spray cans, to the produts you attach to your garden hose or use the professional pest control people. Even if your pets do not go outside, there is a high likelihood that you have fleas out there and being brought in on shoes, clothing, etc. Even if it's very cold where you live now, the fleas are still there. They have only gone dormant. To be completely effective, you will need to treat the inside and the outside at the same time. Otherwise you may find yourself just chasing them back and forth. If there is any indication at all of any remaining fleas on your pets, you should discuss with your vet or pet groomer, the advisability of having them "dipped" on the same day. Everyone will need to vacate the home for at least 4 hours after the foggers have been released anyway. I hope this helps you out but if you have any more questions, just let us know. Patricia
