i have a walnut salad bowl along with 8 matching bowls, they were subjected to some damp conditions, i washed them in hot soapy water, let them dry thoroughly then took vegetable oil and rubbed that in. Will that take care of the white spots that were there? There were white spots I believe due to the dampness.
