Hi XXXXXX;
The first thing you will need is a soft brush. A babys hair brush will do nicely.
The next thing you will need is a can of foaming spray upholstry cleaner. Make sure that it is the foaming type.
Now you need a shop vac. Or any type of vacuume that will pick up water.
Once you have these things the rest is easy. Simply apply the foaming upholstry cleaner and scrub it some with the brush. Then vacuume it up with the shop vac. It is best to do a small area at a time as opposed to the whole chair in one shot.
Dont soak the seat too much as it will not dry out properly and could cause a mold to start forming inside the cushion.
I hope this has answered your question. If it has then please be sure to click on the accept button.

Sorry about that. I sometimes forget that everyone may not know what I mean when (to me at least) I use common terms and phrases
Caytwho,
You can use a regular vacuume but you will need to make an attachment for it. To make it all you will need is a coffee can and some duct tape. I can draw you a diagram of one if you like. It will be a lot cheaper than an upholstry shop.
Let me know and I will start on the drawing.

Finally click on download and select a destination folder to put in. Once you have it the picture speaks for itself.
For the vacuum lines you can use one from the vacuum to go to one of the holes and then a piece of garden hose or other flexible tubing will work for the pick up side.
As an alternative to the duct tape you can use a hot glue stick gun. Personally I love that stuff. So long as what you want to hold together or in place does not get hot or exposed to heat . glue stick is the stuff for me.!
Let me know if you have any other concerns in this matter.

Not a problem XXXXXX.
I forgot to indicate that the lid has 2 holes cut in it.
The hose from your vacuume is inserted into one hole in the lid. you then tape it to the lid so that it stays there and is fairly air tight. Duct tape works best but any type of tape will work.
Next you tape another hose comming out of the other hole in the lid. An old piece of garden hose will do the trick.
With both of the hoses (one comming from your vacuume and the other just sticking out) securly taped to the lid you then place the lid on the tin can. Tape this on to the can just for good measure.
What this does is, as the vacuume is turned on the suction will go from the vacuume thriugh the vacuums' hose into the can and continue to suck from the end of the old garden hose. When you suck up something that is wet (the blue spots in the drawing) Rather than the wet stuff reaching your vacuume and ruining it it falls into the can and remains there.
When you spray the foaming cleaner on the cushion you dont want to let that wet stuff get to your good vacuume so you trap it in the can.
Let me know if you still dont understand something. Or if this wont work for you for some reason. Ill think up something else for you.
