There is very little you can do about the broken toe. He must see an Avian vet for that. Neosporin is to keep down infection. The best thing for a burn is aloe juice, straight from the aloe plant. Do not use any product just because it says it has aloe in it. Only the gooey juice from the plant is safe. But he needs to see a Dr. for the toe. This is a very hard way for you to learn that 1. We shouldn't burn fireplaces where there is a bird, and 2. if you are going to do it anyway, the bird should not be out of it's cage, nor anywhere near the smoke and fumes. I'm going to give you some links to locate your nearest real Avian vet. I hope you will do the right thing for him and get to the help he needs. Otherwise, if he can even survive it, he is likely to be crippled for the rest of his life and will need platforms instead of perches, if he can no longer sit on them. I hope this helps. Patricia
