Question

Kenmore washer is leaking from front-bottom. The DRAIN-PUMP is leaking at the shaft. I removed the item# 21, two clips, but still cannot SEPARTE the pump (item# 22) from motor.

Answer

Pump is just pushed onto a "d" shaft on moter. A prybar or large screwdriver usually helps. Somewhat unusual is for the shaft of the motor to swell and make pump removal difficult. If you can't remove pump with pry bar, it can be broken off in pieces. If shaft is swelled up, unfortunately, motor must be replaced. Tony
