Question
How do you determine if a 200 amp breaker panel is compatible to a previous meter?

Answer
I had to check with my husband who is an electrician on this one.
He says -
If the wire is copper from the old meter base to the panel, it must be size 3/0 AWG.
The wire should be rated 90 degrees C. This will carry 225 amps, which will be more than enough for your 200 amp service.
I hope this helps!
