Question
I was also wondering what other breeds will be a good companion with a Siamese since they are very hard to find unless one uses a breeder.

Hello,
I do find that it's like a reality show when you go to get another cat when you already have one...some will get along and others will not. Having grown up with Siamese cats, and seeing quite a few in practice, some are more timid than others. In general, I do find that most young Siamese females such as yours tend to do best with a kitten of any breed, male or female. If you have your heart set on a Siamese, also please strongly consider a Siamese rescue organization, where there are many wonderful Siamese that need homes. As with introducing any new cat, I recommend keeping them seperate when you are not at home, or not directly supervising them at first. Start off with offering great treats and toys during the first few introductions, so that the cats associate each other with good things. Try not to let meetings end on a bad note...keep them short until things are going well.
Please feel free to reply if you have more questions. Good luck finding another friend, and happy holidays.
