Question

My father in law's great dane has a big lump or mass, on the side of her throat by her jaw. It is more on the underside of her jaw. It has happened before, but this is the biggest that it has ever gotten. It is about the size of a softball. We are not sure if it is an infection. It is not preventing her from eating or drinking. She is however very tired and lazy like. I don't know if that is because she is inside or not. I am concerned that it could possibly be a tumor, that has always been there, but just now has become much worse. Do you possibly know what it could be???
