Is it possible for me to buy an airline ticket from Toronto, mailed to me in England, And use it when i go to the airport here in England. Would they accept it there at the airport?

you would need to check the airline's rules since I assume it is becuase Toronto-Heathrow-Toronto is cheaper than Heathrow-Toronto-Heathrow?

Airlines cover themselves by saying you have to have taken the flight that is first on the air ticket.

I would ring the airline you hope to lfy with and ask them. They wouldn't be able to link you to the transaction - just don't give the real dates you want to fly.

But, there is nothing to stop you buying two singles instead of a return is there.

Do not forget to try some of the online airbookers. I have used ebookers a lot and found the most incredible deals.
