how is it possible to share a neutral in a three phase AC el

Sent to General Experts December 03 05:02 PM

When I as a journeyman electrician pull wire in 3 phase AC circuits I am allowed to share the neutral wire between A, B and C phases as long as I use one circuit from each and not double up. Like I can use 1,3 and 5 on one neutral But not 1,2 and 5 being as 1and 2 are both A phase. what scientific answer is this for that?
