scholarship details on Acts of Peter: who discovered / rediscovered / translated the 600-700 ad Latin “Actus Vercellenses “ (Acts of Peter) document that is housed in the town of Vercelli, Italy. (The earliest scholarly article I can find on the document dates to the 1890s). I would also like to know if the Vercelli “Chapter Library” it is housed in is the same as the Vercelli “Cathedral Library” where German Scholar Dr. Blume found the anglo-saxon codex containing the “Fates of the Apostles” in the 1800s.
