Question

stainless steel flatware 18/10 or 18/8 what do these numbers mean?

Answer

Hi XXXXXXXX,

18/10 means 18% chromium, and 10% nickel. Flatware labeled with 18/10 will have a higher nickel content, will "feel" better in your hand, will last longer and will be more expensive. I prefer the 18/10 because they look so much more elegant to me.

I hope this helps, if you have any further questions, feel free to ask, it costs nothing to click reply. If this has helped, please remember to click the green accept button.

Warmly,

Chase
