Question
I owe back taxes and am making payments but almost finished. I now owe some more back taxes and am wondering if i will be able to make payments on the new taxes even though am currently making payments? And am willing to make payments of 400 a month. If you are currently making payments on an installment plan, the IRS asks that you do not apply for a new installment plan, but that you should call them at 1-800-829-1040 to discuss your account. If you have been compliant will your payments, they will probably work with you to add on the additional taxes owed and extend your payments.
