Hello,

Thank you for sending your question to Just Answer!

There are many excellent web sites with information on venomous snakes. I see part of your name is NYC and you mentioned area, so do let me know if you want information regarding snakes prevalent to New York City. Most of these sites (not all) have Experts or Reptile Keepers that you can contact by both email, address or phone.

Also, as we all remember, Steve Irwin's Zoo in Austrailia has one of the best reptile experts that are now carrying on his legacy. As you are probably already aware, you do need to be very careful in using any information from these "copyrighted" sites, however by contacting the expert you will be able to obtain the research information you are looking for. I am listing many sites, as some may not allow you to use their information, but this is highly unlikely since these sites are there to educated the public and carry on the study of reptiles such a snakes.

Another great site that will give you names, addresses, phone numbers of reptile experts can be found. You may want to start here to locate experts in the areas you want to cover.
