Our 1999 Suburban is not blowing out hot air even when the engine reads hot. Then the heat guage on the engine is fluctuating from too hot to really cold. Any ideas?

Yes you have air in the system from a possible leak,Check and fill the cooling system as needed.Then check for leaks and repair as needed.If the coolant isn't low replace the thermostat.
