Does it accept a regular casette?

Reply

yes, accepts regular casette. The radio works
fine in all other ways. when I press the "CD
Tape" button (with the radio off and the ignition
switch in "accesory" position) the display
shows "ready" and then try to insert a cleaning
casette. The unit regects the cleaner and the
radio comes on.

Accepted Answer

That is because the Unit has Sensors on Take Up Reels The Head Cleaner Tape is very Short & probably making the Take Up Reels think it is pulling to hard on the tape. Try it both ways ( Right side up & Upside down ) Some units won't accept them
