Question

Pinky is female 5-6 year-old tortoiseshell. Shots up to date, usually active outdoors until late. Since it turned cold and began raining Sunday she has been sleeping on warm blanketed sofa and has only gotten up to eat breakfast and go outdoors to the bathroom. Nose is dry but not warm. Purrs when I visit. Today is Tuesday. Now it is Wednesday and she is still abed, though she eats breakfast well. Nose slightly better. Do cats have the flu?Lucille Bellucc39036.5435669792

She might be ill or she might just be conserving energy for when the weather is better.
She is middle aged now and cold rainy weather may have no appeal for her.
My adult animals all tend to ramp down in bad weather. While younger ones may still be really bouncy the mature ones just want to rest up.
You may want to wait to be concerned until the weather improves a little bit and see if she is still lethargic. She should become more active with better weather if this is just a response to the rainy weather and low pressure.
Hope this helps you!
