2.her respirations were 39
3.we were told by er that a release form should have been signed in order for that medication to be given.
4. now she is having recurrent sneezing, coughing and asthmatic symptoms. thank you

If the drug that was given was actually DepoMedrol, there is no release for associated with that medication to my knowledge.  I would say that there should have been an explanation as to the drugs use and side effects.  The sores on the back and pruritus and hairloss...etc can go along with flea allergies or other allergies...in which DepoMedrol is the drug of choice.

I have never had a problem with that kind of reaction after Depo...but a cat can have a reaction to just about anything.  I am concerned maybe there was another drug given. Any sedative type drug would need a release for signed.
Please review the receipt or medical record and make sure nothing else was given.

Depo is a long acting steroid.

Let  me know.
