What is Borderline intellectual functioning My husband has been diognosed
with this but he also as a sez disorder that he has had since he was a baby
he is in his 40's he has also had his right frontal lobe removed would this
be part of the reason for the diogose because they did look at what the frontal
lobes do in the brain

"Borderline intellectal functiong" is the new term for "borderline mental retardation" includes people with IQ scores between 71 and 84 with only slight impairment in adaptive behavior.

The frontal lobes are indeed involved in a number of different things including personality and memory. This may indeed have contributed to his limitations.
