Question

My dog (Vizsla/Terrior mix) likes to get a hold of different things and tear them up while we are gone from the house. Sometimes she'll tear up hair clips, bags, letters, paper left on the table...she just recently tore up a seat cushion from a chair at the kitchen table. She has plenty of toys and bones to keep her busy while we're at work, but this doesn't seem to help. We have a child safety gate that's set up and keeps her out of the back part of the house while we're away. She has the livingroom, diningroom, kitchen and the garage to roam around in while we're gone. She's a great dog! Very friendly and lovable...she's been to basic puppy training classes and knows the basics. When we come home and find a mess, she imediatley lowers her ears and goes to her doggy bed. I know she gets bored and misses us when we're gone and that's probably why she does it, but what can we do to help?
