Question

I have a beautiful, 22 month male rottie who has torn his ACL and also his miniscus. He is in terrible pain and the surgery is between 3 to 4,000 dollars. I just am not able to come up with all of the money and wanted to know if there are agencies that would help versus putting this beautiful boy down.

Answer

You can see if www.carecredit.com will let you finance the surgery.
You can also check with the groups listed on this page
http://www.uan.org/index.cfm?navid=163
Some vets will do a payment plan where you put money down and then pay every month.
You could also try a brace to help him with his pain while you work on raising the money.
This site shows some braces
http://www.handicappedpets.com/k9brace/
and more here
http://www.orthodog.com/
http://www.orthovet.com/catalog.php
Hope this helps you!
