Hi Trisha, I know you are worried about your pet, but I first need to know a few things more about your pet's condition and your current treatment protocol!
What medications is your pet on?? For how long has he been on them?
What diagnostic testing has been done so far to determine this anemia? How many times has the blood been tested for the anemia and what has been the trend? Does his blood cell count keep going down, down, down...or is it low and just steady??
Is your pet losing weight or weak and showing any signs of collapse?
Has an abdominal and chest xray been done yet???
Are there any GI signs?? vomiting? diarrhea? blood in stool??
Has a Complete fecal exam for parasites been done recently?? Is your pet on heartworm preventive??
Is your pet neutered??
