I have a spaded Springer Spaniel. Yesterday I noticed that her butt has open sores. here is some blood seepage. What could be causing this?

It sounds like she may have anal glands that ruptured. You can read about the glands here

and she will need to see a vet for this as she will likely need antibiotics to clear it up.
You can try cleaning the area with betadine iodine solution or hydrogen peroxide and then using neosporin or triple antibiotic ointment on the sore weepy spots.
