I can tell you that the number is great. Florida ,Georgia, Alabama have cross over laws for CWP to South Carolina.
Shooting Ranges are at an all time high. The cost to build and set one up with the proper ATF and State License would indeed warrant building one. These are very much a money maker. Classes could be taught by a certified instructor and persons could use your shooting range to start the process as well for the CWP.
The ranges in Florida are crowded and busy. Gun sells and hunting supplies are mixed in with the shooting.
I would say go for it. But I find no specific stats for your state. You may want to contact the below person for futher insight to your idea. But I feel that it would be a money maker for you.
