Reply to BartsDiamond's Post: Thank you for your efforts to date. I was aware of this Agustus DeMorgan. However, he was not Frederick Chopin's piano technician. They are not the same man but have the same name. The DeMorgan I'm seeking created a piano temperment in 1843 for Chopin that emphasized the value of certain of the keys e.g., C# minor. I'm researching information on this DeMorgan, not the famous mathematition.

I have viewed the info you sent in my search weeks ago. FYI, Chopin was born in 1810 and died in 1849. Please let me know if you come up with the person I'm trying to find.
