Question

On a 2000 Accord what is the best way to push the piston back into the rear caliper so we can install new break pads. Do we need to do something with the emergency brake.

Answer

The piston has to be screwed back in (clockwise) to the caliper.

Using the tips of needle nose pliers works well.

Make sure you align the recess in the piston with the tabs on the pads
