I bought a 1994 cadillac seville with 59000 miles, have had less than 30 days just discovered that the rear engine seal is leaking engine coolant. Is there any way to fix this myself and if not is this a costly repair.

You definately don't want to get involved in oil leaks in that engine. These motors are notorious for oil pan leaks and the engine has to be removed to repair them. This is one of the hardest engine made to work on.
