My cat has not had a bowel movement in almost a week and ...

My cat has not had a bowel movement in almost a week and has lost her appetite. This happened before and we took her took the vet and it cost over $500 to deconstipate her. Last time this happened we gave her laxatone and Karo syrup and she got better. What are we doing wrond and can we do anything different? Thank you

How old is your cat?

How long ago did this happen the last time she was constipated?

What food does she eat (brand and dry or canned)?

When was the last time she ate?

Have you been giving her any Laxatone or other remedies this time?
