What is Makuroo? Definition, origin of word etc..

Relist: I still need help.
I searched the internet prior to asking this question extensively and found ONLY 2 places where this word appears. One was in Chinese characters with the word Makuroo written out, and the other is a screen name for a person on a blog type site. I couldn't read the blog site since it was in Spanish (I believe) so I couldn't even email the person listed to ask this question to. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
