Greetings,

As a Native American I was taught early on by my grandmother which plants, nuts, and berries are edible. I can tell you that the berries of the Kousa Dogwood tree ARE edible and very delicious. A word of warning though...always be VERY SURE what you are eating from the wild as some berries (and many mushrooms) look similar but can be deadly to humans.
