Question

I have 2 chines hamsters + 2 large ones i picked up big 1 after which i then picked up small 1 when i put it back the other 1 will not stop fighting could this be because of scent from big 1 if so what can i do

Thank you for sending your question to Just Answer!

I would strongly suggest that you seperate the hamsters into their own cages. You can place the cages side by side so that they can see each other. This is very important as they could cause injury to each other.

Hello,

The fact that they are fighting even after being together previously means you do need to seperate them. As they have aged, it is not uncommon for them to begin to fight.

In order to avoid injury, providing seperate cages is the best solution.
