Clutch problems

I have a 1991 chev cavalier with a 2.2 engine/5peed.
The hydraulic clutch sees to ckeck out , but the clutch wont disengage

Does the arm going into the bell housing move ?

Yes . The pivit shaft moves, and when I can go down hill and start the engine, I can bring the rpm,s up to shift.
When I get to 3rd, thru 5th gear I can slip the clutch when the pedal is to the floor and I try a hard acceleration.
I have put a long bar on the pivot ball end, and It still wont disengage

hi again

This sounds like the pressure plate has lost it's fingers or possibley the throw out bearing is gone

If the arm moves then there is problem with the pressure plate

I havent been able to split the bellhousing from the engine as fo yet.
I will let you know ASAP,because this fell on a week end I was unable to finish the disasemble

The bellhousing is frozen to the block.
Bell is aluminum. I have tried to wedge a sharp
chissel and a pry bar,but it wont budge
Any ideas?
