I am an ebay seller and collector of antique glass pieces, fenton glass, etc.

My best guess is that this piece is a "Westmoreland."

The link above shows a Westmoreland piece. Styles vary GREATLY, though, so your piece doesn't have to look like this to be a Westmoreland.

I hope this helps!

Let me know if you need more info.

Response to tfalkner's Post: I am not a seller of antique or art glass...but think that my knowledge of glassware is above the average person. I collect glassware as does my mother. She has an extensive collection, milkglass being her favorite. We both have Fenton, Westmoreland, Duncan, Imperial, all types of glass, but the Westmoreland that I have does not have that mark. So we did not think it was Westmoreland. Someone had told us of a company, that made milk glass in the late 1800's that was called Westward Ho...and thought because of the buffalo heads that it may be that company.

There is a maker of china that uses a buffalo as the trademark. You can look at the picture of the maker's mark at the bottom of this page:

Everything that I can find on Westward Ho! indicates that their trademark was a lion.

I have not given up yet!
