we tore the whole house apart without the city knowing no permits insi

Do you need permits for tearing out all walls and electrical , and plumbing , and windows in Madiison Heights michigan and not reporting it doing it without ther knowledge

Yes, you do need permits for the type of construction you are doing. The only time a permit is not required is when you are doing what is called an "ordinary repair", which are small repairs. The link below describes when & why you need a permit:

in oakland county we have a water heater in the attic windows have been replaced electrical all walls and new plumbing gas furnace moved in closet no permits for that just for our addition and cut out walls replaced every wall and ceiling can they look at records to see what the house looked like before it was changed we bought it in 1999 and started constructiion in 2001 even have fake windows on the outside thats not really windows took out and drywalled left widows so no one would kknow until we sided caan we be fined or have to take an tear it all apart

quick note on the personal side: my best friend opened up a daycare back in 1996. With every passing year, she was receiving more and more kids, well her only choide was to remodel. She still didn't have enough money to hire an electrician, plumber or contractor, but her husband knew how to do it all. Well, to make a long story short, they remodel the daycare and she never got fined. But, they did most of the work at night, to avoid getting busted.

o i am in a very stck problem with my soon to be exfiance and he is trying to screw me out of the money i have invested in this house and i am pretty much being railroaded into getting out, we were to be married and my mother died and i have steadily put money in to the house and just dont want him to walk away with it all and i am quite angry about this whole situation.
