My dog, Jack, an 11ish shepard mongrel, is behaving normally in respect to appetite, excercise, energy level, and temperature but this am developed horrible bad breath. He has a history of eating grass and vomiting. For the last two days he's been doing this at least three times a day. Vomitus looks green/yellow with grass, no food. Meds are Phenobarb 50 mg BID, enteric asa 325 mg BID, and glucosamine/condroitin BID. H/O bilat. Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy, H/O seisures. What do you think is going on?

nothing, only change in diet was a small amount freezer burnt ground beef, not spoiled

Reply to Animal Eyes's Post: The last was 24 hours ago. He got approximatly 1 cup over 3 days. Our other dog had same no vomiting.

Because of all that is going on with he to begin with, he may not be able to tolerate any changes in his diet now. He may have a case of pancreatitis starting. It would probably be a good idea to have some bloodwork done on him to find out what is going on. Because the phenobarb can cause some liver problems the bloodwork would also check his liver function and see how it is working.
