Reply to Marie's Post: it is almost in the corner of the upper eyelid, he does like for you to rub he eyes, so I think that it does itch, he is a white horse with pink skin and it appears to be a little red orung the bottom. I have read several different things that other people have done, m ostly picking them off...don't want to hurt my big boy, big baby that is. BOth of his eyes are also running now. Clear tears but running. Help!

Answer

Hi! NO picking off!! I have a hard fast rule, if it hurts dont; do it LOL. Light skined, white horses are nortorious for skin tags on ther eyes and nose. These are usually benigh but they can also get cancer type basal cells like humans. These are pretty harmless if you see no change in size or increase in color. This could also be a bite or wasp sting. Also since both nostrils are running, I bet allergy, like a bee sting or toxic weed.Try this. Buy some saline solution used to clean eyes and contacts, the cheap CVS brand. Gentley wash his eyes with the solution with large cotton balls. Then apply a antibacterial cream, but please be careful not to get it in his his eye. Try this for 3-5 days and if it changes, no problem, if not get back to me. Just relist and you don't have to pay again. Or ask for MichaelsMom or Marie. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask any time!
