Polaroid Back for a Bronica Camera

I have a Bronica ETRSI camera which works fine with nornal film backs, however when I load the polaroid film back with film and place it on the camera i cannot get the shutter relase button to trip. I have ensured the shutter crank has been turned fully

That's sounds like you have a faulty mechanism of some kind. You should take it to a camera shop explain the problem, let them inspect it and fix it there. The problem with the camera needs to be repaired by a professional as soon as possible. It's not the type of problem you should try to do on your own.
