I am on a very TIGHT limited budget, and I do not want to get rid of my dog. What can I use to get rid of his fleas and the ones in the yard?? I can't afford Frontline, Advantage (or other pricey things).. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Getting rid of fleas is no easy taks. Controlling them may be easier for you. The first thing I recommend is to get the dog on some Frontline TopSpot or Advantage. Most vets will sell you one single application that is good for 30 days. That is not that expensive. Then for outside, I would recommend a PERMETHRIN spray. Depending on how big a yard you have, the insecticide should be sprayed once every 10 days for three applications. Spray where the dog goes mostly. Under bushes and trees, under a porch is where most of the fleas wil be found. They are not usually found in open green grass.
