Question

How can I enlarge my butt on my elliptical? Should I use high resistance? Should I go backwards on high resistance? I want a large round rear and toned thighs. Please advise whenever I workout it seems I lose my butt which is my best asset... Help me get it back but I dont want to be fat or have cellulite or have a big muscle butt..... Answer

This is largely going to be due to genetics and your particular body type. Just as you can't spot reduce fat, you can't pick and choose where you keep it either. A good way to enhance that area is with lunges and stair stepping. This will give you a more defined buttocks, and will lift it away from the backs of the thighs. It will also tone your leg muscles, and toned hamstrings (on the backs of the thighs) help to frame a toned buttocks.
