My dog has a series of red rashes on his leg i'm not sure what it is but it looks like it mightb e spreading.

There are a lot of things that can cause a red rash in a dog as skin issues are common problem.
This might be from fleas or other insect bites. This could be due to a yeast infection, a bacterial infection such as staph, a mite infection such as demodex or sarcoptic mange, or even a contact allergy.
The best choice would be to have a vet do an in person exam and diagnosis.
If you can't do that and suspect it might be a bacterial infection you can see if a bath in some chlorhexaderm shampoo will help. Follow directions on the bottle. Pet supply stores usually carry a shampoo at over the counter strength.
