how do I write in a Victorian style?

I am writing a story that is based over a long period of time. The start being in 1900 and the Victoiran age. For part of this story I need to write letters and diary entries in a Victorian Style. Both from and to a couple. (Man & Woman)
I am having problems even writing the date! Can anyone help me? Thank you very much.
