DVD PLAYER WITH WEIRD COLORS IN SCREEN

HI I HAVE A PORTABLE DVD PLAYER AND THE SCREEN JUST START TO LOOK DIFFERENT THERE IS NOT MORE SMOOTH FROM ONE COLOR TO THE OTHER, IT SEEMS WITH A BIG DIFFERENCE AND NOW SOME TIMES IT TURNS PINK, BUT WHAT IM TRYING TO SAY ITS THAT IT DOES NOT LOOK THE PICTURE GOOD ANYMORE, IT'S A 700 DOLLARS DVD PLAYER I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO FIX IT IF THERE IS SOME CABLES LOOSE BECAUSE IT LOOKS PINK IN CERTAIN POSITIONS LIKE WHEN THE SCREEN IS OPEN ALL THE WAY IT CHANGES TO PINK, BUT STILL LOOKS WEIRD THE PEOPLES FACES HAVE DIFFERENT COLORS.

It may be the back light.It can be quite cheap to buy them if you find them on the net.But,it is fairly tough to fit the new lamps because you have to pull the lcd screen apart.Get it wrong and you've had it.Try looking on ebay for a faulty portable dvd player.

The only other fix you should always try first is a good dvd cleaner. Some come with system support as well.
